There are not many professionals who can say that they have succeeded in the worlds of technology, restaurants and academia but even so San Diego local Brian Bonar is one of them.

Brian Bonar, who is originally from Scotland, got his start by earning a degree from the Scottish institution of higher education known as the University of Strathclyde.

The University of Strathclyde holds the distinction of being a research university and of being one of the oldest institutions of higher education in the Scottish municipality of Glasgow.

Before the institution was known to the world as the University of Strathclyde it was first known as the Andersonian Institute. The name the Andersonian Institute came from John Anderson who posthumously commissioned the creation of the Andersonian Institute in the 1700s.

It was later named the University of Strathclyde in a move that helped to pay homage to the area’s rich medieval history.

Strathclyde is the name of an old kingdom that was once comprised of part of what is known today as modern day Scotland and modern day England. Bonar completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Strathclyde. The University of Strathclyde holds the distinction of being named the Entrepreneurial University of the Year several years ago by Times Higher Education.

According to Bloomberg, this distinction underscores the fact that Brian Bonar, one of the distinguished graduates that it produced, went on to travel to the United States and become ingratiated in some of the nation’s most active entrepreneurial communities.

Bonar’s resume as an accomplished business owner is not a short one. He has started companies that have been active in industries that are as seemingly disparate as the highly volatile restaurant business and the strategic business of providing the services that other companies need to optimize the operations that are vital to their success in the marketplace.

In addition to earning a degree from the University of Strathclyde Bonar also holds a Master of Business Administration from Staffordshire University. The advanced degree in business administration that he holds has enabled him to develop a deep understanding of the processes and factors that are required for businesses to succeed in an increasingly globalized economy that is constantly being disrupted by or led by technological advancements.

His Master of Business Administration from Staffordshire has also helped him develop a comprehensive approach to managing his businesses and developing the kinds of strategies that will enable them to become leaders in the industries that they operate in.

Bonar’s success is owed to the fact that he is someone who has a thirst for knowledge and a deep appreciation for the ways that academia can help professionals better understand the fields that they work in.

In addition to the Master of Business Administration that he worked to earn from Staffordshire University he is also able to say that he earned a doctorate from Staffordshire. He is also the owner of a restaurant called Bellamy’s that is based in the San Diego area.
